About
An infinite canvas of sketches, slowly growing one drawing at a time.
This site is a place to share sketches the way they live in a notebook — scattered across pages, sometimes overlapping, with room to wander. Instead of a feed where each new drawing pushes the older ones out of sight, every sketch keeps its spot on the same boundless surface.
The site was built as a personal home for studies, figure drawings, doodles, and works in progress. Drag with your mouse or swipe to pan, scroll to zoom in for detail or out to see the whole landscape. New sketches appear above older ones; nothing ever gets buried.
How it works
The canvas loads sketches only when they enter your view, so the site stays fast even as the collection grows. Each visit drops you onto a random sketch — there's no "front page", and no way to see everything at once except by wandering.
About the artist
The sketches here are made by Jens Claessens. Most are figure studies, character work, and observational drawings done from life or photo references. Each one represents a small practice session or finished study.

Technical credits
The site runs on a small Node.js server hosted on Render. Images are served directly from the same server. The font is Fraunces by Undercase Type, paired with Caveat for handwritten accents.
